What about scholarships - help with youth sailors' tuitions and fees?

Edgewood Sailing School has a small Memorial Scholarship Fund available that helps with financial aid; but most of the funding for assistance comes from the Sailing School's overall operations budget, which is not known until tuitions have been pretty much all collected, and anticipated expenses for the season are known.

If you would like your sailor to be considered for that assistance, please write a letter or email to the ESS Scholarship Committee in which you summarize the current situation, your sailor's interest, and how the assistance would make a difference.  The Committee will acknowledge receiving your letter/email when it arrives.  The Committee meets from time to time to determine how much money total budget can be available, and how much money can be shared among your sailor and each of the other youth sailors who are requesting assistance this season.

Please help move the process along by sending in your request information as soon as possible.
