Year-end appeal tops $5000 - the Rhodes have new Mains!

"Triple your money" ?

You bet we did; and then some . . .

Edgewood sailors and friends raised five-grand for new mainsails.

With 31 individual donations totaling over $5500, the Edgewood Sailing School family has now sailed past our year-end fund-raising goal – – we have the 5th boat.

The funds for the five matched custom-built 2016 mainsails came from several birthday-party gifts, where guests were asked, "in place of birthday gifts, please donate to the Sailing School," from a dozen Adult Level-3 sailors, and  from sizable triple-matching donations.   Along with our donors, we sure appreciate the generous support of the folks at Doyle/East Greenwich, our sail maker.

This has been a Community effort, leaving the Sailing School saying THANK YOU ALL OF US.

Best wishes for the holidays – and what a wonderful way to put a finale on a splendid 2015 season.

ps:   Can we still help?

Yes.  There is still room for another helping hand on the halyard.
